Consider the following behaviors and whether they apply to you.
1 Do you set long term study goals?
2 Do you set weekly study goals?
3 Do you use a diary or planner to organize your tests, projects/assignments and extra mural activities?
4 Do you have a regular place to study?
5 Is this place well light and free from distraction?
6 Do you make study notes?
7 If so, do you have an effective note taking system?
8 When you read your study material,do you always understand what you are studying?
9 If not, do you take steps to help yourself understand, such as look up additional information or ask for help?
10 Do you have a study method?
11 When studying do you look up the meaning of words you don't know?
12 When studying, do you test yourself to check that you know the work?
13 Do you hand assignments in on time?
14 Do you prepare for tests/exams well in advance?
15 Do you plan your study time?
16 Are you able to manage your stress and anxiety during tests and exams?
17 Can you study for 40 minutes without becoming distracted or tired?

Questions 3, 4, 5, 13, 14, 15, 22 Have to do with being organized. This includes time management, study space organized and procrastination.
Questions 6, 7, 18, 23 have to do with effective note taking and Listening
Questions 8, 9, 11, 19, 21 have to do with reading with comprehension
Questions 17, 20, 23 have to do with concentration and focus.
Question 16, 24 have to do with test and exam stress/anxiety
Question 10 asks whether you have a study method/technique. Study methods are very important as they help a student to conquor their study
load in an organize fashion. Every student should have a method that suits them.
